Baguette Diamond

A baguette diamond is a rectangular-shaped gemstone with straight or tapered edges and step-cut facets. Known for its sleek and elegant appearance, the baguette diamond is often used as an accent stone in engagement rings, wedding bands, or eternity rings. The clean lines and minimalist style of baguette diamonds provide a modern, understated sparkle that enhances the overall design of the jewelry.

Band

The band is the circular part of the ring that wraps around the finger, often crafted from metals like gold, platinum, or silver. It serves as the foundation of the ring and can vary in width, thickness, and finish. Depending on the design, a band can be plain or feature intricate engravings, diamonds, or other gemstones.

Bar Setting

A bar setting holds gemstones between vertical metal bars, allowing light to enter from both sides of the stones. This setting is commonly used in eternity bands and wedding rings, offering a modern and clean-lined look. The bar setting provides more security than prong settings while still allowing the stones to sparkle beautifully.

Baroque Pearl

Baroque pearls are irregularly shaped pearls that possess a unique and organic beauty. Unlike traditional round pearls, baroque pearls have free-form shapes, making each one distinct. Their non-traditional appearance adds a modern, artistic flair to jewelry, and they are often used in statement pieces like bold necklaces and earrings.

Bezel Setting

A bezel setting encircles the gemstone with a metal rim, holding it securely in place and offering maximum protection. This type of setting provides a sleek and modern look while also safeguarding the stone from everyday wear and tear. Bezel settings are popular for active individuals, as they reduce the risk of the stone getting knocked loose, making them a durable and stylish option.

Birthstone

A birthstone is a gemstone that corresponds to a specific month of the year, with each month having a unique stone believed to bring luck or protection to those born during that time. For example, garnet is the birthstone for January, while sapphire represents September. Birthstone rings are a meaningful and personalized choice for gifts or commemorative jewelry, making them popular for birthdays and special occasions.

Blemishes

Blemishes are external imperfections found on the surface of a diamond or gemstone. These can include scratches, chips, or other surface irregularities that occur during the cutting, polishing, or wearing of the stone. Like inclusions, blemishes can affect a stone’s clarity grade, though they tend to be less significant than internal inclusions. Proper care and polishing can sometimes minimize the appearance of blemishes.

Brilliance

Brilliance is the white light reflected from a diamond’s internal and external surfaces. It is one of the most important aspects of a diamond's appearance, as it contributes to the stone’s sparkle and shine. A diamond’s brilliance is largely determined by its cut quality; a well-cut diamond will reflect more light and appear more radiant, while a poorly cut diamond will look dull.
